I served as a program manager in the United States Air Force for 20 years. I participated in and led cross-disciplinary project teams in all phases of project development... from requirements definition to delivery.

My training and DOD certification in program management gave me the skills to navigate complex projects, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure successful execution.
I know firsthand how technical expertise, strategic thinking, and clear
communication must work together to drive success.

I’ve always been fascinated by interior design and how homes function. I ended up earning a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015 after I left the Air Force. I saw firsthand the impact that great design has on people’s lives. Although I'm not practicing architecture, I occasionally design floor plans.

Something stood out to me when I was in school. All the magazines and ads I saw for AEC firms focused on their portfolios and awards. As an architecture student, it was inspiring to see the great designs and thought leadership.

But as a copywriter, I know that clients are more interested in
what's in it for them, not in the latest accolade you achieved.
