Frequently Asked Questions

Understanding the Value of Digital Marketing

I already have a website, do I really need your help?

A beautiful site doesn't mean it's a strategic one. If your current website isn’t attracting or converting the right clients, I help you identify why and how to fix it.

How do I know this will actually help me get more clients?

I focus on proven strategies that align your messaging with what potential clients are searching for. When your website clearly communicates value, people stay, trust, and reach out.

Can’t I just write the website content myself?

Yes, you can. But if your messaging isn't strategic, even the most well-written content can miss the mark. I combine marketing, SEO, and user experience to craft words that convert, not just inform.

What if I’m not ready to invest in a full marketing overhaul?

You don't have to do a full marketing overhaul. We can start with a website audit and prioritize improvements based on your budget and goals. We could also start with a simple project.

You’re always in control of what gets implemented and when.

I’ve worked with marketers before and didn’t see results. What makes you different?

I bring a unique blend of architecture knowledge, program management experience, and certified copywriting expertise. That means your messaging is both strategically sound and industry-specific.

What if I need help refining my brand voice?

Branding is part of the process. We’ll work together to clarify your messaging so it reflects your unique voice and resonates with your ideal clients.

Working Together

What types of clients do you typically work with?

I specialize in working with architecture, engineering, and construction firms who want their website and content to work harder to bring in the right clients. However, I'm open to working with other types of clients.

What’s included in the Website Audit?

Each audit includes a review of your current messaging, site structure, SEO basics, user experience, and recommendations for improvement.

Can I implement your recommendations myself?

Absolutely. The audit is yours to use however you choose. You can implement changes in-house, hire someone else, or I can work with you to help you implement the recommendations.

Do you offer one-off services or ongoing support?

Both. You can start with a single project like a website rewrite or a lead magnet, and later opt into ongoing content strategy or support if needed.

Do you offer revisions?

Yes. All projects include at least one round of revisions to ensure the content meets your expectations and reflects your business accurately.

Will you help me with content beyond the website?

Absolutely. I offer content and email marketing strategy, lead magnets, blog writing, and more to support your broader marketing goals.

Project Details and Delivery

How long does a typical project take?

How long a project takes depends on the scope. A website audit can usually be completed in about two weeks. A content project can take as little as one week or up to 8 weeks (or longer). We'd work together to determine a reasonable delivery time.

Do you design websites too?

I have a some knowledge about desiging websites, but I specialize in messaging and content. I can collaborate with your designer or developer to ensure content and visuals work seamlessly together.

Can you help with SEO?

Yes. All content is created with SEO best practices in mind. SEO helps improve visibility and ranking. However, I don’t offer technical SEO services.

What’s your pricing structure?

Pricing varies depending on the service and scope. Website audits are priced based on site size, content strategy projects range from $300 to $5,000.

Getting Started

Do you work with firms outside the U.S.?

I’m based in the U.S., but I'm open to working with English-speaking firms around the world.

What if I’m not sure what I need yet?

When you schedule a time to talk, I can help you figure that out. I’ll help you identify gaps in your current marketing and recommend the most impactful starting point.

How do I get started?

Contact me and let me know you want to talk. We’ll discuss your needs and goals. This will give us a chance to get to know each other a little and determine if we're a good fit for working together.
